Day 1 - Your tour departs the Phoenix/Scottsdale area in the morning for a guided tour of the Sedona area, beginning with either Montezuma Castle or Tuzigoot National Monuments. The National Monuments represent the ruins of the Sinagua population that inhabited the region over 1000 years ago. Once in Sedona, your guide will share viewpoints like Bell Rock, Chapel of the Holy Cross, and other local favorites, along with opportunities for Jeep and Helicopter tours, shopping and gallery visits. Lunch is provided by your guide and you will be checked into your Sedona hotel around 3:00pm. You will be on your own in Sedona from approximately 3:00pm and meet your guide at 9:30 am the following morning. Sedona hotel accommodations are your choice. We recommend locations that allow you to experience Sedona on your own, without a car. We choose hotels that are in Uptown Sedona or that have a shuttle provided for access to Uptown Sedona.
Day 2 - Your guide will meet you at your Sedona hotel at 9:30am for a drive through Oak Creek Canyon on the way to Grand Canyon National Park. Your guided tour of Grand Canyon offers viewpoints along the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park with opportunities for shopping, rim walks and optional helicopter tours of Grand Canyon. Your day also includes a visit to a Navajo Trading post with views of the Painted Desert. The Navajo Nation is the largest reservation in the country with stunning 100 mile vistas and colors that are similar to the colors of Sedona. We return to the Phoenix/ Scottsdale area at approximately 8:00pm.
