This 2-day tour offers a brief visit to Sedona, featuring the world famous red rock formations, as well as a tour of Grand Canyon National Park before traveling to the bright lights of Las Vegas. Arizona's wonder of the world is yours to explore on the this overnight tour with the best Grand Canyon South Rim views. Once in Las Vegas, your guide will finish the tour by dropping you at the hotel of your choice along the famous Las Vegas strip.
Departure time on day one is approximately 6:30am; arrival time is Las Vegas is the next day at approximately 8:00pm.
To see Arizona’s colorful landscape, the Phoenix, AZ to Sedona, AZ to Las Vegas, NV tour with overnight stay in the Grand Canyon gives you a chance to learn about ancient Native American civilizations, marvel at the spectacular landscapes of Sedona and the Grand Canyon, and explore local and Navajo artisans of Sedona and the Grand Canyon. After departing the Phoenix/Scottsdale area at approximately 6:30am, Sedona will be our first stop along the tour. Guests will have a chance to photograph the famous red rocks, stretch their legs and take a quick walk around this picturesque town. While you are enjoying Sedona, your guide will pick up your gourmet picnic lunch made fresh that morning. The tour will then pass through Oak Creek Canyon, a scenic byway that winds through 2,000 vertical feet of a red walled canyon to emerge surrounded by the dense ponderosa pines of the Coconino National Forest.
Atop the Mogollon Rim, we will travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff on our way to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Guests will enjoy magnificent views that open up in front of them at the stunning South Rim, the deepest and widest part of the Grand Canyon. While at the South Rim of the National Park, you will have opportunities to walk the rim, shop, capture an unlimited amount of photographs, or enjoy your lunch and relax with the best seat in the house. Your guide will assist you with your hotel check in and you will have the remainder of the day on your own to relax, overlooking one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Lodging upgrades are available for additional cost.
Overnight in Grand Canyon, AZ
During the morning hours you will have ample time on your own to relax and have a leisurely breakfast, take sunrise photographs overlooking the Grand Canyon, or even do a morning hike. At approximately 3:30pm, your DETOURS of Arizona guide will greet you at the front lobby of your Grand Canyon lodge and transfer you to Las Vegas. Highlights on the tour from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas include traveling over the Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge and along parts of the historic Route 66. Completed on October 19, 2010, the Mike O'Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge is one of the few connecting bridges that joins Arizona to Nevada. Once in Las Vegas, your DETOURS of Arizona guide will drop you off at the hotel of your choice along the Las Vegas Strip at approximately 8:00pm.

Because DETOURS travels with a maximum of 13 passengers, this allows us to take a flexible approach and take full advantage of touring opportunities in Grand Canyon and Sedona.
Due to the developing tourism industry in the area changes can and do occur in this type of program. Weather conditions, sometimes severe enough to limit where we can drive or walk, can also alter the program. As visitors, we will respect this, and remain flexible and open to local conditions, safety concerns and unforeseen opportunities. Our guides will do their best to keep things on track and in the event that our schedule changes, they will try to keep disruption to a minimum, consider your wishes and organize other options as far as it is reasonable and practical to do so.
Multi-day tour cancellation policy is set at 7 days. Tours cancelled less than 7 days from the departure date will be charged in full.
Our vehicles are designed to carry up to 13 passengers on individual leather captains’ seats, and groups range from 8-13 passengers. This tour can also be operated as a private charter for groups from 2-13 passengers for an additional cost.

The hotel in Grand Canyon will be 3-4 stars. The accommodation has been chosen to give passengers the best access to the Grand Canyon area. For those traveling alone there single occupancy rates available.
This tour offers a wide range of walking opportunities, which require a reasonable level of fitness mostly due to possible elevation changes. The level of activity can be suited to and catered for almost all levels of fitness. It is not an activity holiday, just an active holiday.
Health and Vaccinations
It is imperative that you have both a dental and medical check-up and we recommend that you ensure your Tetanus inoculations are up to date. Our drivers and guides are first aid qualified and a medical kit is carried at all times.
Individual luggage must be kept to a maximum of one piece of luggage less than 50 pounds or one daypack less than or equal to 40 litres. It is recommended to travel with a small day pack for easy access to camera, sun block, and clothing. It is recommended to plan ahead and arrange to store bulky items pre-tour. We advise our clients to pack as lightly as possible.
Temperatures in Sedona and Grand Canyon are typically 15-30°F cooler than Phoenix and vary by season. We recommend our guests bring jackets in the event of changing weather patterns.
