Tour from Phoenix to Las Vegas traveling through the red rock town of Sedona and the magnificent Grand Canyon South Rim. This single day tour is the perfect way to explore natural wonders and local artisans before arriving in Sin City for modern day excitement.
Depart the Phoenix/Scottsdale area approximately 6:30am and arrive in Las Vegas by approximately 8:00pm. Please note this is a one way tour ending in Las Vegas.
After departing the Phoenix metro area, Sedona will be our first stop along the tour. Guests will have a chance to photograph the famous red rocks, stretch their legs and take a quick walk around this picturesque town. While you are enjoying Sedona, your guide will pick up your gourmet picnic lunch made fresh that morning before departing to the Grand Canyon. Upon leaving Sedona, the tour passes through Oak Creek Canyon, a scenic byway that winds through 2,000 vertical feet of a red walled canyon to emerge surrounded by the dense ponderosa pines of the Coconino National Forest.
Atop the Mogollon Rim, we will travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff on our way to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Guests will enjoy over an hour and a half at the South Rim Village marveling at the beauty that is the Grand Canyon. While at Grand Canyon National Park, you will have opportunities to walk the rim, shop, capture an unlimited amount of photographs, or enjoy your lunch and relax with the best seat in the house. At approximately 3:30pm, you will transfer from DETOURS of Arizona to DETOURS of Nevada who will guide your transfer to Las Vegas. Highlights on the tour from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas include traveling over the Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge and along parts of historic Route 66. Completed on October 19, 2010, the Mike O'Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge is one of the few connecting bridges that join Arizona with Nevada. Once in Las Vegas, your DETOURS of Nevada guide will drop you off at the hotel of your choice along the Las Vegas Strip at approximately 8:00pm.

Temperatures in the Grand Canyon are typically 25-30°F cooler than in Phoenix and vary by season. We recommend our guests bring jackets in the event of changing weather patterns. We also recommend to pack a single bag weighing no more than 50 pounds.
