Imagine seeing a condor with a 9 foot wingspan from the incredible vista of the Vermilion Cliffs along the Colorado river. This is a once in a lifetime chance to view condors in their natural habitat, guided by biologists from the Peregrine Fund. Discover first-hand how they have brought this incredible natural treasure back from the brink of extinction.
Tour itinerary:
Day 1 – Depart Phoenix to Page for a float trip through the rich habitat of Glen Canyon. Evening reception at Badger Point in Marble Canyon and an introduction to the Peregrine Fund Staff.
Day 2 & 3 - Morning departure for half of our group to the North Rim of Grand Canyon and half to the Vermillion Cliffs for a session with the Condors. Day 3 offers the other group to switch the two options. Overnight at the foot of the Vermilion Cliffs with the Peregrine Fund.
Day 4 - Visit Wupatki National Monument and Sedona on our return trip to Phoenix.
