Only minutes from the city, the Apache Trail is a true wilderness adventure and a perfect day in the Sonoran desert.  We are the only van touring company who will take you down Arizona's first designated "Historic Highway" and a scenic byway. This breathtaking road got its start as an Indian route and became the supply route for one of the first reclamation projects in the U.S.; now a system of four desert lakes, the largest being formed by Roosevelt Dam at the end of the trail.
   The full day tour takes you to the ancient ruins of the Tonto National Monument where visitors can see fingerprints left by the Salado Indians who inhabited the area over 700 years ago. Next, hold on to your hat as we slowly wind up (or down) Fish Creek hill for an unforgettable view of the Superstition Mountain Wilderness. Then on to colorful Tortilla Flat and the ghost town of Goldfield where you’ll get picture perfect glimpses into Arizona's rambunctious past. Canyon Lake's Dolly Steamboat is available upon request for groups of 8 or more.

Full Day Tours depart the Phoenix area at 7:00am, and return at 5:30pm. The Half Day Tour is approximately 5-6 hours, and has flexible departure/return times. All tour times are approximate. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to departure will be charged the full tour price.
